Preoccupations by Diarmuid Delargy

Preoccupations represents various studio concerns of Diarmuid Delargy's that have developed over the past nine years. There are several recurring themes, all of which are based around the dominant motif of Art and Extinction. These works are a visual conversation, loosely referencing and informed by time spent in print-making. There are three distinct preoccupations under the main heading Art and Extinction: The Shark/Tope Series, The Circus Animals' Desertion and, finally, The Crete Series.
